Wembley-based company Integrated Security Consultants (ISC) has provided security functions for the annual Race of Champions event, held at Wembley Stadium.
ROC remains the only opportunity for drivers to race in exactly the same cars and on a parallel track; the world’s best racers from Formula 1, World Rallying, World Touring Cars, World Superbikes, Le Mans, NASCAR, and the X Games competing head-to-head for the prize of the fastest driver in the racing world.
ISC began with pre event security for the Test Day, while on event day ISC teams secured the Drivers Lounge, where participants included Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Jenson Button.
The company also provided a close protection officer to look after Lewis Hamilton, staying with the racing star throughout the day ensuring his safety and assisting his movements around the venue and for autograph signing sessions.
The Paddock viewing area where vehicles and crews are situated also played host to 1500 guests who came in a steady stream to view and get close to the cars with ISC managing foot traffic and ensuring the safe flow of all guests.
Additionally, they also provided response teams for levels two, three and four of the venue, monitoring crowd behaviour and with all staff fully trained to respond appropriately to any occurrence.
Several of ISC’s senior management team are also contracted by the Stadium directly to handle key security roles at all the Stadium’s events.
